Prince Harry has revealed that he “feels sick” after a difficult pre-wedding conversation with his older brother, Prince William.
A day before Harry is due to marry the former Suits star, King Charles’ youngest son proposed to William – and his first response left the young Prince in tears.
In his newly released book, Spare, the Duke of Sussex describes how he had drinks with his friends at the Coworth Park Hotel the night before his big day at Windsor Castle, according to The Mirror.
William was supposed to join his brother, but left “at the last minute”, citing “Kate and the children”. What Harry writes in the book: “I felt sick about it.”
William had just become a father for the third time, and Harry reminded his brother that it was their custom. This was because the night before William’s wedding, the two dined together before greeting the public.
However, Harry adds that William eventually changed his mind about greeting people, and came to join his brother. The Duke of Sussex was shocked: “Maybe grandma got involved”.
The prince also said that he forced William to have dinner together and stay the night – and he eventually gave in and agreed to have dinner together. However, he couldn’t stay, as he wrote: “I’m sorry, Harold. You can’t. Children.”
