BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) – The NHL’s Buffalo Sabers and Pegula Sports & Entertainment have hired John Roth as chief operating officer. He will report to owners Terry and Kim Pegula after more than two decades at Fidelity Investments. Roth oversees the day-to-day operations of the club. Kim Pegula remains president of the Sabers and the NFL’s Buffalo Bills. He was hospitalized in June for what his family said was an unexpected condition. PSE did not immediately respond to the message to improve Kim Pegula’s health.
