KOLOA, Hawaii – In the Healio Video from Hawaiian Eye 2023, Audrey R. Talley Rostov, MD, discusses femtosecond laser-assisted cataract surgery in difficult cases.
“You can take the stress out of some of these really difficult things by using the tools you have,” he said.
In the case of white cataracts, for example, Scheimpflug imaging or OCT imaging can help determine the extent of the cataract, and FLAC technology can be used to “take away your worries,” he said.
