Steve Martin, Martin Shortand Selena Gomez will return to filming in the third season of The Only Kills In This House-but before they finished, the trio surprised fans with the news that the show is adding two familiar faces.
In addition to the original singers who stole our hearts in the first two seasons, it has been confirmed that Paul Rudd and Meryl Streep joins Hulu’s comedy-mystery lineup.
The news was announced in a hilarious video that Gomez, 30, shared on TikTok today. In the clip, the actress, who was sitting next to Short, 72, and Martin, 77, revealed the casting was filming for Season 3, “The criminals return! Is this really good? Oh, wait!” Gomez continued, panning the camera to Rudd, 53, who was hiding next to Martin.
“Well, I think it’s going to be a little bit better,” Rudd said before Streep, 73, emerged from behind the couch, asking the cast if they could get them anything.
“@hulu meeting our new and old staff! Excuse me while I scream into my pillow,” Gomez captioned the video.

While it’s not surprising that Rudd will return, considering his character (Broadway star Ben Glenroy) appeared briefly at the end of Season 2, Streep’s role has not been revealed.
Martin also shared a behind-the-scenes photo of all five cast members on Twitter, writing, “The filming of Season 3 of ‘Only Murders in the Building’ has begun!

Many fans went to the comments with excitement, happy that the two actors will join their favorite podcasters in the upcoming season.
