Parents and Guardians, NBC 5, Telemundo 39, BNSF Railway Co., and the National Multicultural Western Heritage Museum would like to invite your high school youth, grades 9 – 12 to the 24th Annual Awareness Day and Technology and College Fair, Saturday, February 11 from from 8:30 am – 3:30 pm at the BNSF Railway camp.
The event, which will be in-person and virtual, aims to educate young people about the scope of technology and challenge attendees to create and implement their own technology solutions.
In-person registration closes on January 31st but if you plan to attend, registration closes on February 9th.
BNSF’s technology awareness day is part of National Black Family Technology Awareness Week. The national campaign was launched by IBM and aims to “promote small breakthroughs in technology, science, and technology.” Industry-sponsored events take place across the country during the week in February.
