A new dining and entertainment destination is coming to Fall River.
Attorney David Assad represented Origen Restaurant Bar & Grill owner Elvis Verdezoto at the Fall River Licensing Board meeting Wednesday in requesting a new All-Use Liquor and Entertainment License.
A Latin American restaurant will open downtown at 159 South Main Street, formerly SADO Asian Food Sushi & Bar.
Hours of operation are expected to be Sunday through Wednesday 11:00 am to 11:00 pm and Thursday through Saturday 11:00 am to 2:00 am.

An opening date for the new job has not been released.
Entertainment will include live music, DJ or karaoke.
Verdezoto’s wife and co-owner have a lot of experience with the restaurant, according to Assad.
According to the previous listing of the building, the restaurant was recently renovated in the last three years with new equipment, floors, walls, and exterior. There are 135 seats with booths and movable tables and chairs. The bar also has a 24-tap machine.
Verdezoto was granted the permits requested by the Board.
