Get a dangerous tuba. And the Imperial March. It’s a refreshing Indiana Jones theme. Five-time Oscar-winning composer John Williams is getting a lot of support, and his 50-year-old partner is among those using the cane.
Steven Spielberg and his Amblin Television are teaming up with Imagine Documentaries and Nedland Media to produce an untitled doc about the legendary composer who wrote songs like this one. Star Wars, Jaws, Indiana Jones, Jurassic Park and Harry Potter, The deadline has been confirmed. The project is in early stages, with Spielberg producing alongside Brian Grazer, Ron Howard, Darryl Frank, Justin Falvey, Justin Wilkes, Sara Bernstein and Meredith Kaulfers.

Williams, who turns 91 in a few weeks, has been nominated for 52 Academy Awards in his 67-year career and won. Fiddler on the Roof (1971), Jaws (1975), Star Wars (1977), ET The Extra-Terrestrial (1982) and Schindler’s List (1994) – the last four directed by Spielberg. He also has three Emmys to his credit, dating back to 1968.

Beginning with television in the late 1950s, Williams has over 165 credits – from Playhouse 90, Wagon Train and Lost in Space hit side included The Poseidon Adventure, The Towering Infernodirected by Christopher Reeves Superman movies, Home Alone, JFK, Angela’s Ashes and The Patriot.
And the singer has been busy, writing Spielberg’s favorite songs for the current game. The Fabelmans and Disney+ Star Wars spinoff series Obi-Wan Kenobi.
