Storm Reid knows she can always lean on him Euphoria costar Zendaya when she needs help – and honesty.
On the latest episode of PEOPLE Every Day podcast, Reid opened up about the relationship he developed with his TV sister.
“I always go to him for advice,” he said Missing Actress, 19. “He’s always very honest, very blunt, very loving, respectful. But he still tells you how he feels. And I like that because I’m a blunt, straight guy. It’s about extra fluff and, you know, get right to it.”
Reid plays Zendaya’s sister Georgia “Gia” Bennett Euphoria. Although the characters in the popular HBO drama often share themes, the evolution of the two is far from this.

From Reid’s experience, the 26-year-old Emmy winner — who plays Ruby “Rue” Bennett — “is sweet.”
“That’s my big sister,” Reid continued. “With each other and in general, I think it’s important to be real. I think we live in a very fake world sometimes. So it’s good to go through.”

Zendaya, who is also an executive producer on Euphoriahas previously said that Reid was a “dream actress” for the role of her younger brother.
“When she’s coming up, she’s always telling me, ‘Yeah, she looks like Zendaya!’ So when the role of my little sister came up, I was like, ‘Storm! We have to work together,'” she told BuzzFeed UK in 2018. “She’s beautiful and she’s amazing.”

In addition to the two’s relationship, another thing Reid is “very grateful” for is his new role opposite Nia Long in. Missing. The film follows June (Reid), a young woman who tries to find her mother Grace (Long) after she goes missing on vacation with her new boyfriend. To help her in her research, June uses resources available on the Internet
“Fortunately I have not been put in a position where my mother is missing, but the unconditional love that parents have for their children, and that children have for their parents, will go to the ends of the earth or you.” I’ll do anything to keep your parents safe,” Reid said, describing the film. “So that’s what June did, and she did it smartly. And I don’t think I could do what June did, so I admire her for that.”
