CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – There was a lot of pride at the show Friday morning at the School of Science and Technology off Saratoga Boulevard.
Elementary school students, along with teachers and staff, celebrated their first 100 days of school.
They all participated in a ceremony to commemorate the first 100 days of the school.
Everyone in the parade dressed up as a 100-year-old to add a little extra touch to the event.
The children really enjoyed the costume parade.
“We’re just celebrating, we’re celebrating 100 days of school. We’re celebrating 100 days of school because it’s amazing,” said the students. “We’re celebrating 100 days of stuff and we’re doing a lot of fun stuff.”
The principal of the school said that the best part of the event is that all the students are now 100 days wiser than the first day.
