HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – A local Hot Yoga studio is using new technology to give students a new and unique experience.
It may look like an ordinary Yoga class, but it is different. Hot Yoga Waikiki has launched a new hybrid way for people to hold fitness classes, led by instructors from around the world.
Allowing participants to receive instruction from some of the best Yogis.
“What we’ve done is we’ve found the best equipment in the world and brought it to our studios remotely so they can see our studios through the most advanced cameras we’ve set up in the room and in every studio. Here.” Hot Yoga Waikiki CEO Catherine Macomber told Hawaii News Now. “They can also hear the counselor who has the loudspeakers that we have installed in the room.”
Not only do they see normal zooms, teachers are given multiple angles of the room and the ability to zoom in on the image to give live instruction to people as if they were in the room.
As a result of the epidemic where everything was real, the use of technology is changing.
As the new year approaches, instructors and clients alike say that hot yoga is one of the best ways to achieve your New Year’s goals.
“It’s really important and important to say, hey, I know I can go there, I can just stand there and know that I’m burning calories and getting the benefit of having energy in the room.” Macomber said.
“Pull the trigger, get down and do it. This is the point because if you don’t do it, you won’t do it again.”
Jesus Guillen started attending classes about a year ago and says he has seen the results of yoga, from weight loss to improved mobility.
“His quality is amazing.” Guillen said. “I have a lot of energy because of this, you know what, this is a good place to come, there is a lot of good energy.”
This class is not for experienced yoga, everyone is welcome to come and try it.
