Maks Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd are “on pins and needles” after announcing their pregnancy.
The loved-up couple recently announced they are expecting their second child together, after suffering multiple miscarriages, and Maks has now admitted they are both worried.
Maks – who has Shai, six, and Peta – told E! Story: “It wasn’t about, ‘How do I make myself look cute and tell my husband?’
“It was like, ‘It’s finally here,’ but it was also very subtle, because we’ve done this four times before.
“So we’re on pins and needles, whether it’s because of the past pain of the process or because the world is such a place, and suddenly we find ourselves growing in the middle of all these problems.”
Peta has had three miscarriages and has reported her fertility issues in the past.
However, the 36-year-old dancer recently announced that she is expecting another child with Maks.
He said: “It happened naturally.”
“I danced through ‘Dancing with the Stars’ with it. I started feeling weird, I started feeling a little sick and a little swollen and I didn’t want to try for weeks.”
Peta took the test between “six or seven weeks” into her pregnancy and was surprised by the results.
He explained: “I think it was the fastest confirmation I’ve ever seen in my life.
“It just came so fast and I was just surprised. It’s been so different from my previous pregnancy. It wasn’t like I jumped for joy and shouted from the rooftops, ‘Oh my God, I’m pregnant.’ It was like, ‘Okay, let’s see what happens because I’ve been through it sometimes. four, and it didn’t work.’ So I was very suspicious. I didn’t tell Maks for a while.”
