Hakuhodo Inc Group, based in Tokyo, has acquired a 51% stake in MA&TH (Marching Ants & Trigger Happy) Entertainment Network Private Limited, one of India’s leading entertainment companies and organizations.
The Cannes Film Festival Lions team that has won the MA&TH award is headquartered in Mumbai. It serves clients involved in the production process, including filmmakers, studios, streaming platforms, broadcasters, and international brands.
Their credits include “Baahubali: The Beginning,” “3 idiots,” and Danny Boyle’s Oscar-winning “Slumdog Millionaire.”
The company has also produced the “Delhi Crime” campaign for Netflix and “AK vs AK.” It has done the same for Amazon Prime Video’s “The Family Man” and Sony’s “Scam 1992” and “Shark Tank India.” It was also behind the Emmy Award winner “MasterChef.”
MA&TH group companies include Marching Ants Advertising Pvt Ltd, established in 2001, which stands for “MA.” Trigger Happy Entertainment Pvt Ltd, established in 2007, is the other half, bringing “TH.”
MA has expertise in strategic planning, big picture development, and startups. Currently, TH specializes in video uploading, video production, and film distribution channels.
