Miles Sales scored a game-high 18 points to help Newark Vocational win 57-46 over Technology, Newark.
Sale led the way in the win, as he added eight rebounds, six assists, and six steals to his 18 points.
Leading by eight at the end of the first quarter, Newark Vocational (10-3) went on a 13-4 run in the second quarter to take a 17-point lead into halftime.
Trailing by 18 points entering the fourth, Technology (1-14) went on an 18-11 run in the final to try to find a way back into the game, but never threatened to come back in the end.
Ruben Alliance added nine points, 11 rebounds, and a steal for Newark Vocational. Adonis Akande (nine points, eight rebounds, five steals, three assists) and Jordan Love (nine points, three rebounds, two assists, two steals) also had strong performances for the Eagles.
For Technology, Tyshawn Young (17 points, nine rebounds, two blocks, a steal) and Jakob Gherady (11 points, five steals, two rebounds, two assists) led the way in scoring.
