Virtue Technologies Inc., a technology startup based in Chapin, recently received $250,000 in funding from SC Launch Inc., affiliated with the SC Research Authority.
Virtue Technologies is a cloud-based, mobile-first software that focuses on solving the challenges of the traditional medical device and pharmaceutical industries, according to a news release.
The company’s mission is to help reduce costs and improve operational efficiency by improving operational efficiency, eliminating waste, increasing patient satisfaction and operational transparency, according to company officials.
“In an environment of shrinking reimbursements, increasing risks and the need for information, our technology thrives and removes friction from care delivery processes and patient information,” said Gibran Ameer, CEO of Virtue Technologies.
Virtue Technologies recently presented its software at the National Association of Health-System Pharmacists Clinical Meeting and Exhibition in Las Vegas.
“Growing companies that are using technology to eliminate tedious processes are one of our main goals,” said Bob Quinn, CEO of SCRA. If technology can improve patient care, it’s a very rewarding endeavor. We are proud to support Virtue Technologies and look forward to their continued growth. “
