A day before Pathaan hits the cinema halls, Shah Rukh Khan interacted with his fans. The winner did another ‘AskSRK’ episode on Twitter, where he once again left his followers in awe of his wit. However, fans also saw her love for her friends, as she wrote a eulogy for her contemporaries Ajay Devgn.
Ajay’s upcoming film Bholaa’s second film dropped today. Speaking to the media, he mentioned the ‘exciting opening’ of Pathaan, and how it really makes him happy. A fan shared the same episode with Shah Rukh and asked him to respond.
“Ajay has been a pillar of support and love for me and my family for many years. He is an amazing actor and a beautiful person. Strong and quiet,” King Khan tweeted.

For the uninitiated, Ajay Devgn spoke about Drishyam 2 being a hit, and how the opening of Pathaan seems to be encouraging for the industry. “When my film is big I can say, we need three or four high quality films. Because after the pandemic things have slowed down and we have to train the habit among people to come to the cinema to watch a film. So let’s keep our fingers crossed. I want every film to be very successful,” he said. .
Ajay added, “Like, Pathaan is releasing and every report we’re reading about the advance bookings is looking good and I’m really happy about it from the bottom of my heart. And I’m telling everyone that we should all be very excited about it.”
Shah Rukh Khan did not leave his fans disappointed when they were waiting for intelligent answers from him. When a fan asked him about his ‘abs’, he replied, “Aibs bahut hain sardar…kuch good manners dhoond raha hoon ab.” Another follower mentioned how she got married last week, and whether she should watch Pathaan or go on her honeymoon. Feeling frustrated with his time management, SRK he replied, “Beta one week ho gaya abhi tak honeymoon nahi kiya!!! Now go see #Pathan with his wife and honeymoon sometime… “
The Badshah of Bollywood also shared his plans for the day. Responding to a question whether he will be watching a movie tomorrow or keeping an eye on the box office, the loving father wrote, “Kal main sirf apne bacchon ke saath baithunga…bas.”

Also starring Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, Pathaan is directed by Siddharth Anand. Advance booking for Pathaan started on January 20, and on the first day itself, it sold over 5 lakh tickets. Over 2 lakh tickets were sold across the top three chains, PVR, INOX, and Cinepolis.
According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film has sold over Rs 23 crore tickets on the first day, and Rs 13.3 crore on the second day. Some days it has Rs 13.9 crore, and the pre-sale comes in at over Rs 50 crore. The film will be released in more than 100 countries.
